DNC Regulations
Prospects Influential Inc is fully DNC (Do Not Call) compliant on all of the Consumer Lists we provide for Telemarketing campaigns. Before we can provide a Consumer Telemarketing List, we have to obtain our client’s SAN (Subscription Account Number) as required by the FTC and CRTC.
In the US, the National Do-Not-Call Registry went into effect on October 1, 2003. Under the law, it is illegal for telemarketers to call anyone who has registered themselves on the list. Since the National Do-Not-Call Registry went into effect, all end users of telemarketing lists in the U.S. are required to register for a Subscription Account Number (SAN) at the FTC's Website.
Data for up to five area codes is free. As of October 1, 2009, the annual fee has been set at $55 per area code of data (after five) up to a maximum annual fee of $15,058.

The Canadian National Do Not Call List went into effect September 30, 2008.
The subscription fees for the Canadian National Do Not Call List vary, depending on the time frame and the number of area codes that are required for a particular marketing campaign. The entire list for Canada can be purchased, which includes the numbers registered in all of the area codes, or only numbers contained in specific area codes. The subscription is also available on a monthly or annual basis. The price breakdown is as follows:
| Number of area codes | Annual | 6-month | 3-month | 1-month |
| All area codes | $17,250 | $15,755 | $8,510 | $2,875 |
| By individual area code | $1,610 | $834 | $426 | $144 |
As with the US Do-Not-Call Registry, the Canadian version also requires users to register themselves. You can register with the CRTC by clicking on this link: http://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca
Although the Canadian list was modeled after the U.S. version, but there are some differences.
