The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is the system for classifying industries by a two, four or six-digit code. A company’s SIC code will indicate the company's type of business.

Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) are cities or urbanized areas within the United States with a population of 50,000 or more
Forward Sortation Area (FSA) are the first three digits of the postal code. They are used by Canada Post to represent an area larger than what a simple postal code encompasses.
